How is our audit different?

Having conducted scores of these audits over the years, we find a similar disturbing pattern with most Major Donor programs: more than half of the best donors to the charity are simply going away undetected. While the bottom line numbers above might seem fine (a 21.09% increase in revenue from $10,000+ donors), when we take a look at what is really going on we find that that new donor revenue ($11 million+) is covering up millions of dollars that have been lost ($7.86 million) from old donors departing the scene. This is where we focus—on the current donor, not the actual overall revenue. And when you focus on the donor and work to serve and satisfy them the revenue goes up dramatically.
